Fabulous fungi photography forum

IAN BELL will cover some of the vital ecological roles fungi play and will show some of the great diversity and beauty of Australian fungi in photographs brought to life with time-lapse photography.

Individual photographs can be very beautiful but adding the dimension of time adds drama and reveals growth too slow for the eye to see. You don’t need to be a David Attenborough. It is not difficult or expensive, it just requires a little preparation and a lot of patience. Ian will show you how and provide a simple guide. Finally, he will describe a citizen science project, Fungimap, which has collected over 100,000 records of target Australian fungi. Ian Bell is a member of Fungimap and the Field Naturalists fungi group and authored the interactive
