Mount Rothwell Conservation and Research Centre has many of the animals that originally lived in the grasslands on Victoria's Volcanic Plains. The Eastern Barred Bandicoot, Eastern Quoll, Red-bellied Pademelon and the Brush-tailed Rock Wallaby are easy to see by spotlight.

We will take a torch-lit walking tour on Saturday August 16th.
Bookings are necessary and we will meet there at 5:45 pm for a 6pm start. Car pooling is a possibility.
The centre is located on Little River - Ripley Road near Little River, Melways Key map 11 ref C10 (marked as Earth Sanctuary in old editions).

To book please send your name and phone number with a cheque for $10 to cover the cost of entry (non-refundable deposit) to Linda Bradburn, 6 Stephen Street Preston 3072. Enquiries after hours to (03) 9416 7184 or by email to lindaeliz@optusnet.com.au.

Alternately there are tours open to the public on the last Saturday night of every month.
