Preliminary planning is underway, in consultation with project supporters, other interested groups and the ANPC Committee. The workshop will be based on previous ANPC native vegetation workshops, but will be tailored to the specific needs of the ACT region.
The two-day workshop will include sessions by local and regional experts on topics such as ecological principles for successful rehabilitation, management issues and techniques, learning from case studies.
There will also be a significant field component, including demonstrations of techniques, discussions of management issues and rehabilitation approaches, field identification of grassland plants.
