Promotional materials - Ideas please

Hi all,
I have been given the task of putting together some fresh promotional material with the aim of recruiting new members and generally making people aware of IFFA and what it has to offer. The obvious advantage of this is increased membership, but with that comes fresh and greater input into discussion forums and web content.
So, I thought it might be good to get a discussion going about things like:
What people thought were the drawcards of IFFA
Who should be the audience/s for promotional material
What media should be used to reach these audiences
And any other ideas that there may be out there
So please feel free to post anything that comes to mind. I see this as a kind of brainstorm forum. Once the ideas start coming in I will put them together into a document and attach it to this topic.

Does anyone have any connections to universities or TAFES?
If there are any users who have connections to universities or TAFES, I would be really grateful if you could point me in the direction of contacts who could make students aware of the IFFA wedsite and forums.
Unfortunately some comments were accidentally removed from this topic during a spam clean up. But the gist of what has been discussed so far is that the forum is a very useful drawcard for getting people, particularly students, involved in IFFA. It was also pointed out however, that the lack of activity on the forums is off putting and to some extent the accessibility (in terms of ease of uploading images, etc). Sorry, I havent mentioned the name of the contributor because I'm just going from memory and didnt want to misrepresent anyones comments.
