Seeding the Future/AGM/Planning IFFA's future Day

11:30 am Seeding the Future
Judy Allen will talk about her new video Seeding the Future, which is a guide for collectors of indigenous seed for propagation. Free copies of the video will be available for IFFA members who stay for the Strategic Planning workshop after the AGM. See the review of the video in this issue.

12 midday Annual General Meeting
Business will include:
• Reports on the year presented by the Office-bearers,
• Election by members of new office-bearers and Committee for the year ahead. Nominations should be sent to the Secretary Michele Arundell (123 Monbulk Road Kallista 3791) before the meeting. Nomination forms are enclosed.

12:30 pm Informal lunch (catered).

Prize draw for winner of a copy of the book Resilience thinking (see the review in this issue) for those who have sent in a questionnaire by 9 October. (The questionnaire is inserted in this issue).

1:00 pm What should IFFA Do?
Short presentations:
• History of IFFA (presentation from Michele Arundell)
• Current membership and the organisation's geography (presentation by Tony Faithfull)
• Other allied/similar groups (presentation by Linda Bradburn)
• Southern Peninsula IFFA (prepared by Gidja Walker and presented by Michele Arundell)
• Committee capacity (presentation by Brian Bainbridge)
Tea break

2pm: Workshop:
Analysis of members' needs from IFFA (discussion and workshopping the top 5 members' needs from IFFA, that IFFA has the capacity to provide)
Discussion of activities IFFA might undertake around the priorities.

The workshop will be facilitated by Ann McGregor, an experienced facilitator familiar with IFFA and the environment movement.
